A sequence of popular show tune parodies, the "tell it like it is" lyrics from Tom Orr (left) bring fun and frolic to this imaginative play.

Some references to theatre figures may go over your head, but even if you aren't a complete theatre bum, you will laugh your butt off.

Some of the topics delved into are phone sex, monogamy for breeders, safe sex advice from nuns (How Do You Solve Your Problem - Gonorrhea) and explicit descriptions of things most people don't talk about. Even when these guys are singing about enjoying Daddy's spankings or "tied up testacles" in the same sentence with "whiskers on kittens", they come off more cute than dirty thanks to the sharp witted lines and definitive characters.

The costumes are fabulous and Trauma Flintstone is the most gorgeous drag queen, ever. The "No Lloyd Webber" skit cracks on the latest statistics of Cats and assures that no Webber tunes will be parodied here.

Definitely worth every penny, it's a "don't miss it" that will surely be in larger theatres with higher ticket prices soon.

From Oklahoma's (Farmer and Cowman) - The differences between drag queens and leather men and why queens and queers should stick together. You could feel the joy in the theatre when, after a lot of coaxing from David Bicha, (black teddy) they ultimately say "Why Not!", and take each other's hand to dance a country, ho-down-style jig.

"I'm So Over The Rainbow" from The Wizard of Oz is a skit in which Birdie-Bob Watt discusses the issues of gays someday not needing a rainbow in the tune
"Why Can't I Be Me?".
Randy Wendelin transforms from burly man
to gurly man with the wink of an eye.

David Bicha absolutely IS
"The Very Model of a Modern Homosexual"
from The Pirates of Penzance.
Eric Brizee transforms from nun
to mildly frightening "bondage guy", and then dramatically plays the hopeful AIDS victim
in "Another 100 T-Cells" - the only skit out of 26 that doesn't bring tears of laughter.

The entire cast is outstanding in this
straight up look at gay life through showtunes.
